HR & Payroll in GRX lets you manage employee records, run payroll, generate salary slips, and track document expiry (e.g. visa, Emirates ID, insurance) so people data and compliance sit in the same system as your operations.
What you can do
- Add and edit employees — Store employee name, role, contact, joining date, and employment details in one place.
- Store document dates — Record expiry dates for visa, Emirates ID, insurance, and other required documents. Dashboard and reports can show expiring or expired items so you can renew on time.
- Run payroll — Configure salary components (basic, allowances, deductions) per employee. Run payroll for the selected period and generate salary slips.
- Print or export salary slips — Generate salary slips for distribution to employees and for your records. Align with UAE labour and payroll practices as applicable.
- View document expiry alerts — Use the dashboard section or reports to see which documents are expiring this month or are already expired, and take action.
Workflow: New employee and documents
- Add employee — In Employees, add a new employee. Enter name, role, and joining date. Save.
- Enter document expiry dates — In the employee record, enter expiry dates for visa, Emirates ID, and insurance (and any others you track). Save.
- Monitor on dashboard — The Documents & visas expiring section on the dashboard will list this employee when a document is in the alert window (e.g. this month or overdue). Schedule renewals accordingly.
Workflow: Monthly payroll
- Review payroll settings — Ensure salary components and amounts are correct for each employee for the period.
- Run payroll — In Payroll, select the period (e.g. current month) and run payroll. GRX calculates amounts per employee based on your configuration.
- Generate salary slips — Generate and print or export salary slips. Distribute to employees and keep copies for records and audits.
Best practices for UAE workshops
Update document expiry dates as soon as renewals are completed so alerts remain accurate. Keep employee data and payroll records in sync with UAE labour law and your company policy. Use the same system for operations and HR so one source of truth supports both daily work and compliance.
