General auto repair & workshop services
Dubai general repair — jobs and billing that follow the car
Iron Horse Auto · Dubai
Iron Horse Auto runs day-to-day repair and service for a mixed customer base in Dubai. GRX replaced ad-hoc notes with job records, role-based access, and invoices linked to the work actually done.

The workshop
Iron Horse Auto takes on general repair — servicing, brakes, electrical gremlins, pre-purchase checks — for private owners and small fleet operators in Dubai. The team is lean: people switch between the bay and the desk depending on the hour.
That flexibility helps the business, but it meant job updates depended on whoever was free to update the owner.
What wasn't working
Job updates went through WhatsApp voice notes and photos. Fine for quick questions, unreliable for billing.
Technicians and front-office staff shared one way of working informally — no clear record of who approved extra parts or labour.
Invoices were raised from memory or rough notes, which slowed down handover when the customer wanted itemised detail.
How they use GRX
Every repair starts as a job with customer and vehicle attached. Technicians log progress and parts against that job from mobile-friendly screens on the floor.
Role-based access separates what technicians can update versus what front office can invoice and adjust.
Quotations cover agreed work upfront; anything extra is added to the job before the final invoice goes out.
What changed
- Jobs, customers, and vehicles in one record per visit
- Quotations and final invoices linked to the same job
- Technicians update jobs from the floor; front office handles billing
- Less back-and-forth at handover — the invoice matches the job history
